AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs Shipping Protection —Shipcheckfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and Shipping Protection — Shipcheck both aim to increase revenue for Shopify merchants, but they accomplish this through vastly different approaches. AOV Bundles focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) by encouraging customers to purchase more items through bundle deals, volume discounts, and AI-powered recommendations. Its target audience is merchants who want to optimize their product offerings and incentivize larger purchases directly through product page and cart interactions. It emphasizes ease of use with a no-code setup and customizable widgets to maintain brand consistency. Shipping Protection — Shipcheck, on the other hand, focuses on offsetting costs associated with lost, damaged, or stolen packages while also building customer trust. It allows merchants to create their own shipping insurance program, charging customers for protection and retaining all the insurance revenue. This app targets merchants who want to control their shipping insurance, reduce reliance on third-party providers, and offer customers peace of mind regarding potential shipping issues. While both apps fall under the 'Upsell and cross-sell' category, their methodologies and intended outcomes are distinct. AOV Bundles is about increasing order size, while Shipcheck is about risk mitigation and revenue generation through shipping protection.
