AOV & Cart Upsells ‑ LiftKit vs Gro One Click Upsell Funnelsfor Shopify (2026)
AOV & Cart Upsells ‑ LiftKit and Gro One Click Upsell Funnels offer distinct approaches to increasing Average Order Value (AOV) on Shopify in 2026. LiftKit focuses on pre-checkout upsells and cross-sells, displaying related products on product and cart pages to encourage customers to add more items before completing their purchase. This approach targets merchants looking for immediate AOV uplift within the standard shopping flow. LiftKit's selling point is Amazon-style widgets on the cart and product pages. In contrast, Gro One Click Upsell Funnels concentrates on post-checkout upsells, presenting offers after the initial purchase has been made. This strategy aims to boost AOV without adding friction during the crucial checkout process, reducing the risk of cart abandonment. Gro One Click Upsell Funnels touts an AI-powered engine to generate upsell funnels automatically, as well as an editor for manual control. The ability to offer upsells with a single click, without requiring customers to re-enter payment details, is a core differentiator. Given that it's rated highly with 11 reviews, Gro One Click Upsell Funnels seems to be more proven. LiftKit's lack of reviews raises concerns about its functionality and reliability. The fundamental difference lies in when the upsell occurs: pre-checkout (LiftKit) versus post-checkout (Gro One Click Upsell Funnels). The best choice depends on a merchant's tolerance for checkout friction and their target customer base.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a seamless checkout experience and concerned about cart abandonment, Gro One Click Upsell Funnels is the clear winner, especially given its positive reviews and AI-powered automation. The post-checkout upsell approach minimizes friction and the single-click purchase feature enhances the likelihood of conversions. The AI functionality to get setup quickly without complex manual rules is also a strong benefit.
AOV & Cart Upsells ‑ LiftKit, with its focus on pre-checkout upsells, *might* be suitable for stores with already high conversion rates and a customer base accustomed to seeing upsell offers during the shopping process. However, the complete lack of reviews and the associated lack of social proof makes it a risky choice. Unless a merchant is willing to take a chance on an unproven app and is extremely confident in their existing checkout flow, Gro One Click Upsell Funnels is the more sensible and dependable option.
