AOV & Cart Upsells ‑ LiftKit vs Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+for Shopify (2026)
AOV & Cart Upsells ‑ LiftKit and Squid: Reviews, Upsells & 25+ are both Shopify apps aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through upsells and cross-sells. LiftKit positions itself as a straightforward upsell and cross-sell tool focused on product and cart pages, highlighting its Amazon-style widgets. Squid, on the other hand, presents a more comprehensive suite of features beyond just upsells, including reviews, trust badges, AI recommendations, and email marketing tools. Squid aims to provide a holistic solution for building trust and driving sales, whereas LiftKit seems to prioritize simple and direct upsell functionality. The key difference lies in the breadth of features offered. LiftKit focuses on core upsell functionality on product and cart pages. Squid offers a much wider range of functionalities beyond just upsells and cross-sells, including customer engagement tools, trust-building elements, and various types of discounts (Volume, FBT). This makes LiftKit potentially attractive to merchants looking for a simple, focused upsell solution, while Squid is geared towards merchants who want a more feature-rich application that tackles various aspects of store optimization. The significant difference in rating and number of reviews suggests Squid currently enjoys more user confidence.
