AOV.ai Post Purchase Upsell vs Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PROfor Shopify (2026)
AOV.ai Post Purchase Upsell and Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the checkout experience, but they tackle different aspects of it. AOV.ai focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through one-click post-purchase upsells and downsells, offering personalized offers on the thank you and order status pages. Its strength lies in its ability to create dynamic, targeted offers based on order value, product, or shipping location, aiming to maximize revenue from existing customers. Goalify, on the other hand, centers around increasing sales by motivating customers to reach a free shipping threshold. Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO aims to encourage larger orders by visually tracking progress towards free shipping eligibility. While AOV.ai targets increasing AOV by presenting additional purchasing opportunities after the initial order, Goalify seeks to influence purchasing decisions *before* the order is placed. While both apps are aimed at increasing revenue, they operate at different stages of the customer journey, catering to distinct merchant needs and strategies.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting AOV by leveraging the customer's existing purchase intent and offering targeted upsells after checkout, AOV.ai Post Purchase Upsell is the stronger choice. Its one-click functionality, personalization features, and A/B testing capabilities provide the tools needed to optimize post-purchase offers. Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO is better suited for merchants seeking to increase average order value by incentivizing customers to add more items to their cart *before* completing their purchase. It's a simple, straightforward solution for driving sales by offering a compelling free shipping incentive. AOV.ai is a more sophisticated, feature-rich upsell solution, while Goalify is a targeted tool for increasing cart value.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing AOV?
Both apps aim to increase AOV, but they use different approaches. AOV.ai focuses on post-purchase upsells, while Goalify incentivizes larger initial orders. The 'better' app depends on the merchant's strategy.
Does AOV.ai or Goalify require coding skills?
AOV.ai mentions no coding skills are required, thanks to AI-powered templates. Goalify doesn't specify, but similar apps are typically designed for easy installation and configuration without coding.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Goalify is likely easier to set up and use due to its single-functionality design. AOV.ai has more features, which could mean a slightly steeper learning curve but provides increased customization.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, you can technically use both apps. AOV.ai works *after* the initial purchase, and Goalify influences the initial purchase. They operate at different points in the checkout process and don't directly conflict.
Which app provides more detailed analytics?
AOV.ai explicitly mentions 'built-in real-time analytics' for tracking performance, suggesting more comprehensive reporting than Goalify, which lacks explicit mention of analytics features.
