AOV.ai Slide Cart Drawer vs EG Auto Add to Cart Free Giftfor Shopify (2026)
AOV.ai Slide Cart Drawer and EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift both aim to improve the Shopify checkout experience, but cater to different merchant needs. AOV.ai focuses on optimizing the cart itself with a customizable slide-out drawer, providing real-time updates, upsell opportunities, and a quicker checkout process. It's geared towards improving the user experience and increasing Average Order Value through a better cart interface and clear calls to action. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift, on the other hand, concentrates on incentivizing purchases through automated free gift offers and BOGO deals, targeting increased sales volume by directly rewarding customers with free products or add-ons based on cart conditions. The core difference lies in their approaches to conversion. AOV.ai strives to improve the cart interface to facilitate existing purchase intent, while EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift generates new purchase intent through compelling free gift and BOGO offers. AOV.ai emphasizes cart customization and streamlining checkout, while EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift prioritizes offer automation and conditional freebies. The review count disparity strongly suggests that EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift enjoys wider adoption and potentially more documented success with its incentive-based approach, but AOV.ai's smaller review base could indicate a more niche product or a more recent market entry.

Which app is easier to set up and use?

Both apps aim to increase AOV, but use different strategies. AOV.ai focuses on direct cart upsells. EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift focuses on incentivizing larger purchases through free gift rules. Which is better depends on your product and audience. Cart upsells might work better for smaller items, while free gifts might be better for higher-priced items. Which app is best for stores with a high volume of transactions?
Given the significantly higher number of reviews (762 vs. 35), EG Auto Add to Cart Free Gift appears to be more widely adopted, suggesting it may be better suited to handle a high volume of transactions.
