Apippa‑Custom Price Calculator vs D: Request a Quote, Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Apippa‑Custom Price Calculator and D: Request a Quote, Hide Price address different pricing needs for Shopify merchants. Apippa focuses on automating complex, real-time price calculations for made-to-order products based on various inputs like dimensions, quantities, and options. Its strength lies in its ability to create custom pricing formulas, tiered pricing, and dynamic shipping fees. It's aimed at businesses needing precise and immediate pricing for customizable items. D: Request a Quote, Hide Price, on the other hand, is designed to facilitate quote requests by hiding prices and providing a 'Request a Quote' button. Common Questions
Which app is better for volume discounts?
Apippa‑Custom Price Calculator explicitly supports tiered quantity pricing and size discounts within its pricing formulas. D: Request a Quote, Hide Price allows for volume discounts, but the discount application occurs during the quote generation phase, rather than being automatically calculated.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without hands-on testing, it's difficult to definitively say. However, D: Request a Quote, Hide Price, with its simpler 'Request a Quote' functionality, *may* have a slightly easier initial setup than Apippa's more complex custom calculator creation.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but it would require careful planning. You could use Apippa for some products with clearly defined pricing and D: Request a Quote, Hide Price for more complex, custom projects or items requiring negotiation. However, managing both could become complex.
Which app helps generate leads?
D: Request a Quote, Hide Price is specifically designed for lead generation. By hiding prices and requiring a quote request, it captures customer contact information and initiates a sales conversation. Apippa is primarily focused on converting existing interest into sales through transparent pricing.
