AplusFulfill vs PriorNotifyfor Shopify (2026)
AplusFulfill and PriorNotify, while both listed under 'Sourcing options - Other' on the Shopify app store, cater to drastically different needs. AplusFulfill is an all-in-one dropshipping fulfillment platform aiming to simplify sourcing, quality control, branding, and shipping. It targets dropshippers seeking to scale their business by outsourcing their fulfillment operations. PriorNotify, conversely, is a niche app focused solely on automating the FDA "Prior Notice" process and generating Commercial Invoices for businesses selling and shipping food and drink products to the USA. It is designed for food stores, producers, dropshippers, and mailing fulfillment companies dealing with FDA regulations. The core difference lies in their functionalities. AplusFulfill handles a broad range of fulfillment tasks, offering services like sourcing, warehousing, quality checks, branding, and fast shipping. PriorNotify specifically addresses the regulatory requirements of selling food and beverage products in the US, a complex area that AplusFulfill doesn't seem to cover. The user reviews also drastically differ: AplusFulfill has a perfect 5-star rating with 16 reviews, suggesting positive user experiences, whereas PriorNotify has no reviews and a 0-star rating, indicating a potential lack of user adoption or recent release.

Our Verdict
For dropshippers needing a comprehensive fulfillment solution encompassing sourcing, warehousing, branding, and shipping for general products, AplusFulfill appears to be the better choice, given its positive reviews and broad feature set. However, if a merchant's primary concern is selling and shipping food and drink products to customers in the USA, they absolutely need PriorNotify (or a similar solution) to ensure compliance with FDA regulations. PriorNotify automates a very specific and critical task for food and beverage businesses. The absence of reviews for PriorNotify warrants caution; merchants should thoroughly investigate its reliability before committing.
Common Questions
What is the main difference between AplusFulfill and PriorNotify?
AplusFulfill is a general dropshipping fulfillment service, while PriorNotify focuses specifically on automating FDA 'Prior Notices' and Commercial Invoices for food and beverage products shipping to the USA.
Which app is better for a dropshipper selling clothing?
AplusFulfill would likely be the better choice for clothing dropshippers, as it provides comprehensive fulfillment services and branding options, features unnecessary for PriorNotify.
Can AplusFulfill help me with FDA regulations for food products?
Based on the description, AplusFulfill does not appear to offer services related to FDA regulations or food safety compliance. PriorNotify would be more appropriate for that use case.
Why does PriorNotify have no ratings or reviews?
The lack of ratings and reviews for PriorNotify could indicate that it is a relatively new app, has low user adoption, or possibly has issues preventing users from leaving reviews. Further investigation is recommended.
If I'm a dropshipper selling both clothing and food, do I need both apps?
Yes, most likely. You would need AplusFulfill for the clothing fulfillment and PriorNotify specifically for the food items to handle the FDA compliance requirements for shipping food to the USA.
