Appointment Booking App Apntly vs Linkcase ‑ Digital Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Appointment Booking App Apntly and Linkcase ‑ Digital Products, while both appearing in the 'Digital Products' Shopify category, cater to drastically different needs. Apntly focuses on enabling merchants to convert physical products or services into bookable appointments, offering features like calendar integration, team member management, and automated Zoom integration. It's positioned as a booking solution similar to Calendly but tailored for Shopify products. Linkcase, on the other hand, is a dedicated solution for selling and securely delivering various digital products such as ebooks, music, courses, and software. Its strength lies in its robust access control features, customizable templates, and secure streaming options. The primary difference lies in their core functionality: Apntly facilitates appointment scheduling, whereas Linkcase facilitates digital product delivery. Apntly is designed for merchants offering services that require time slots, such as consultations, repairs, or classes. Linkcase is designed for merchants selling downloadable or streamable content. The significant difference in user reviews suggests a much wider adoption and potentially greater user satisfaction for Apntly, although the reason for the rating difference should be investigated separately, as Linkcase's small review volume might not reflect overall user experience with its latest iterations in 2026.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to offer appointment-based services or convert existing products into bookable experiences, Appointment Booking App Apntly is the clear choice. Its high rating and large user base suggest a reliable and effective solution for managing schedules, team members, and online meetings. Its ease of use, as indicated by the 3-step setup, makes it appealing to merchants of varying technical skill levels.
Linkcase ‑ Digital Products is the preferred option for merchants primarily focused on selling digital products. While its lower rating and fewer reviews raise some questions, its core functionality of secure delivery and access control makes it essential for businesses selling digital assets like ebooks, music, or software. However, potential users should investigate the reasons for the lower rating before committing to the app. If security and access control are top priorities for digital products, Linkcase offers features Apntly does not.
