Our Verdict
Based on the available information, Chargeback Specialist appears to be the more immediately valuable app for many Shopify merchants, especially those experiencing chargeback issues. Its 5/5 rating and 7 reviews suggest positive user experiences. The one-click activation is also attractive. If a merchant is experiencing lots of Chargebacks, then this app is a clear winner. Appriss Exception Analytics, while potentially beneficial for larger businesses with complex internal operations and specific concerns about internal fraud, lacks social proof (no ratings or reviews) and a clearly defined target audience making it a riskier choice without further due diligence. If a merchant doesn't have internal fraud concerns and is just worried about chargebacks, then Appriss is not suitable.
