Our Verdict
The choice between AppsByB: Backup & Restore and Customs Buddy depends entirely on the specific needs of the merchant. For businesses primarily operating within a single domestic market or those intensely focused on securing their Shopify store data and managing multiple storefronts efficiently, AppsByB is the clear choice. It prioritizes data protection and simplifies store management for larger operations.
However, if the merchant is actively engaged in international sales and experiences challenges with customs clearance, Customs Buddy offers a more targeted solution. Its ability to automate invoice generation, customize for brand consistency, and integrate with Shopify Flow streamlines the entire shipping process. For international sellers, Customs Buddy is crucial for a positive customer experience and avoiding costly delays.
