Our Verdict
AppsByB: Backup & Restore is the more robust and generally applicable solution for most Shopify merchants, particularly those who value data security and need to manage multiple stores. Its backup and syncing capabilities provide essential protection against data loss and streamline store management tasks. However, it does not include any features around customer support.
Impersonator is best suited for merchants, especially those in the B2B space, who place a high premium on personalized customer service and require the ability to directly access customer accounts for troubleshooting or support purposes. However, the lack of ratings and reviews, combined with the specific nature of its features, make it a niche offering compared to AppsByB.
