AppsByB: Inventory&Price Sync vs Elevate A/B Testing Price Testfor Shopify (2026)
AppsByB: Inventory&Price Sync and Elevate A/B Testing Price Test, while both categorized under 'Pricing' in the Shopify app store, cater to distinctly different needs of Shopify merchants. AppsByB focuses on streamlining backend operations related to product information management. It automates the synchronization of inventory levels and pricing data from various sources like suppliers, warehouses, and files, addressing the operational challenges of maintaining accurate product information and preventing overselling. Elevate, on the other hand, is a customer-facing optimization tool that enables merchants to conduct A/B tests on various elements of their online store, including pricing, shipping rates, content, and themes, with the goal of maximizing revenue and improving customer experience. The core difference lies in their purpose. AppsByB aims to solve the problem of inaccurate inventory and pricing information, while Elevate aims to optimize conversion rates and revenue through experimentation. AppsByB targets merchants who struggle with manual data entry, inconsistencies in product information across different platforms, and the risk of overselling due to inaccurate inventory counts. Elevate appeals to merchants who are focused on growth and are willing to experiment with different strategies to improve their store's performance and understand customer behavior. Therefore, both solve pricing problems, but for different areas of the business.

Our Verdict
The choice between AppsByB: Inventory&Price Sync and Elevate A/B Testing Price Test depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is struggling with managing inventory and pricing information across multiple platforms and wants to automate these processes to prevent errors and overselling, AppsByB is the more suitable choice. This is particularly true for merchants who work with multiple suppliers or warehouses.
However, if a merchant is already managing inventory effectively but is looking to optimize their store's performance, increase conversion rates, and maximize revenue through experimentation, Elevate A/B Testing Price Test is the better option. The A/B testing capabilities offered by Elevate can help merchants identify winning strategies for pricing, content, and other elements of their store, leading to significant improvements in revenue and customer experience. While AppsByB offers a basic integration with WooCommerce, this feature will likely not suffice as a full pricing A/B test. The low review count on AppsByB, however, should be considered when making a decision.
