AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer vs DataPocket: Design Boostfor Shopify (2026)
AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer and DataPocket: Design Boost are both 5-star rated apps in the Shopify store data importer category, but they cater to vastly different merchant needs. AppsByB focuses on migrating data *into* Shopify, specifically from WooCommerce. It offers a comprehensive solution for merchants replatforming their stores, including products, customers, orders, and even blog posts, with a strong emphasis on SEO preservation. A key differentiator is the availability of a demo migration, allowing merchants to test the process before committing. In contrast, DataPocket: Design Boost focuses on data *utilization* within Shopify. It's designed for merchants looking to streamline their design workflows by connecting product data (images, descriptions, prices) to popular design platforms like Canva, Figma, and Adobe. This app prioritizes ease of use and design efficiency, rather than complete data migration. The target audience is merchants who actively use these design tools for marketing materials, social media content, or product presentations. While both apps handle product data, their purpose and functionality are entirely distinct.

Our Verdict
AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer is clearly the superior choice for merchants looking to migrate their entire online store from WooCommerce to Shopify. Its comprehensive feature set, including demo migration and SEO preservation, addresses the complexities of replatforming. The higher number of reviews also suggests a more established and tested solution.
DataPocket: Design Boost, on the other hand, is ideal for Shopify merchants who are already happy with their platform but want to improve their design workflow. If you frequently create marketing materials or social media posts using Canva, Figma, or Adobe, this app can save you significant time and effort. However, if you're not actively using these design tools, DataPocket offers limited value.
