AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer vs MyShop ‑ Product XML Importfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, when considering store data importers on Shopify, AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer and MyShop ‑ Product XML Import offer distinct solutions for merchants. AppsByB is positioned as a comprehensive migration tool specifically designed for merchants transitioning *from* WooCommerce to Shopify. Its core strength lies in its thoroughness, importing not just products, but also reviews, customers, orders, coupons, pages, and even WordPress blog posts as Shopify articles. This robust functionality, coupled with SEO preservation through URL redirects, makes it ideal for merchants prioritizing a complete and seamless transition. MyShop ‑ Product XML Import, while also a store data importer, lacks the explicit mention of WooCommerce migration. Its title and description suggest a focus on XML import, which implies a reliance on structured data files and potentially a more technical user. While the reviews suggest the app is useful, the lower rating and fewer reviews compared to AppsByB indicate potentially less widespread adoption or satisfaction, at least as reflected in publicly available data.

Our Verdict
For merchants specifically migrating from WooCommerce to Shopify and seeking a comprehensive solution that preserves SEO and data integrity, AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer is the clear choice. The demo migration offers a risk-free way to test the process. The detailed list of imported data types and the emphasis on a "seamless switch" further support this recommendation.
MyShop ‑ Product XML Import might be suitable for merchants who have product data readily available in XML format and are comfortable with a potentially more technical import process. However, the limited information available and the lack of specific benefits like SEO preservation make it a less compelling option for a general migration scenario or for merchants unfamiliar with XML. Without more information, it's difficult to recommend it over the AppsByB importer.
