Appstle℠ Bundles & Discounts vs HidePay: Hide Payment Methodsfor Shopify (2026)
Appstle℠ Bundles & Discounts and HidePay: Hide Payment Methods, while both sharing the 'Pricing' category on Shopify, cater to vastly different needs. Appstle focuses on maximizing Average Order Value (AOV) and customer engagement through bundled products and strategic discounts. It empowers merchants to create compelling offers and increase sales. In contrast, HidePay addresses a more specific operational concern: controlling which payment options are displayed to customers, likely to optimize conversion rates based on customer location or specific order characteristics. The core difference lies in their objectives. Appstle is about incentivizing larger purchases with attractive pricing strategies, while HidePay is about curating the payment experience to improve trust and reduce cart abandonment. Appstle appeals to merchants looking to actively drive sales growth through pricing promotions. HidePay is more suited to businesses with complex payment gateway setups or those operating in regions with varied payment method preferences. While both apps boast excellent ratings, HidePay has a considerably higher number of reviews, suggesting a broader user base or a solution addressing a more common pain point. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's priorities: boosting sales through bundled offers (Appstle) or optimizing the payment gateway display (HidePay). Both apps have strong reputations, but their utility is highly dependent on the specific business needs.

Our Verdict
The choice between Appstle℠ Bundles & Discounts and HidePay: Hide Payment Methods depends entirely on the merchant's strategic goals. If the primary objective is to aggressively increase sales and AOV through compelling bundled offers and discounts, Appstle℠ Bundles & Discounts is the clear winner. It provides the tools to create attractive deals that incentivize larger purchases.
However, if the merchant's focus is on optimizing the checkout experience by controlling which payment options are presented to customers (perhaps due to regional preferences, high transaction fees associated with certain payment methods, or security concerns), then HidePay: Hide Payment Methods is the more appropriate choice. Its ability to tailor the payment gateway display can lead to improved conversion rates and a more seamless checkout experience.
