Our Verdict
Choosing between AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro and Shop depends heavily on the merchant's marketing strategy. If the primary focus is on maximizing visibility and sales through Google Shopping, particularly for international audiences, AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is the superior choice. Its advanced features for feed optimization and support for multiple languages and currencies make it a powerful tool for Google Shopping success.
However, if the merchant is looking to leverage Shopify's internal ecosystem and tap into the existing Shop user base, Shop is the more appropriate option. Its features for enhanced branding, frictionless checkout, and direct engagement with shoppers within the Shop app can lead to increased conversions and brand loyalty within the Shopify universe. For merchants already heavily invested in the Shopify platform and aiming to deepen their presence within it, Shop is the clear winner.
