Arbor Day Foundation vs Impact By Salefor Shopify (2026)
Both Arbor Day Foundation and Impact By Sale aim to help Shopify merchants integrate charitable giving into their business model, focusing on environmental impact. However, they differ in their approach and scope. Arbor Day Foundation concentrates specifically on tree planting and reforestation, offering a partnership with a well-known and trusted organization. Their strength lies in simplicity and brand recognition associating with a single, recognizable cause. They target merchants who want a straightforward, easy-to-implement solution focused solely on reforestation efforts. Impact By Sale, in contrast, offers a broader range of environmental projects, including ocean cleanup and rainforest protection, potentially appealing to a wider audience seeking diverse impact initiatives. Impact By Sale emphasizes measurable impact and provides tools for robust storytelling, including an 'Impact Ticker' and donor feedback. This positions them towards merchants prioritizing detailed reporting and transparency about their social responsibility efforts. They also offer more flexible donation methods beyond simple tree planting, such as customer add-ons and round-up options, potentially attracting merchants looking for more interactive customer engagement in the donation process. While both apps have excellent ratings, Impact By Sale currently has more reviews, indicating a potentially larger user base and more established presence.
