Arc: llms.txt vs Brand It! Calendarfor Shopify (2026)
Arc: llms.txt and Brand It! Calendar are both highly-rated Shopify apps (5/5) in the 'Content' category, but cater to very different needs. Arc: llms.txt focuses on improving a store's AI discoverability by automatically generating and maintaining an `llms.txt` file, essentially a sitemap for large language models. Its target audience is merchants prioritizing SEO and wanting to leverage AI search and conversational commerce. The key benefit is passive improvement in AI search rankings and visibility across platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini. In contrast, Brand It! Calendar helps merchants embed branded calendars directly into their storefront to display business hours, event schedules, or promotional campaigns, targeting those who need to clearly communicate a timeline to their customers. The primary difference lies in their core function: Arc: llms.txt is a technical SEO tool designed for AI visibility, while Brand It! Calendar is a customer-facing content app focused on scheduling and communication. Arc offers a 'one-click' solution, making it user-friendly for merchants without deep technical knowledge. Brand It! Calendar, on the other hand, requires connecting to existing calendar services and customizing the styling, offering more control over presentation but requiring more initial setup. While both fall under the 'Content' umbrella, their specific applications and target users are distinct. The difference in the number of reviews (18 for Arc vs. 6 for Brand It!) may suggest a wider awareness or application of Arc: llms.txt as of 2026, potentially due to the growing importance of AI SEO.
