Arc: llms.txt vs Essential AI SEO: AI Blog Postfor Shopify (2026)
Arc: llms.txt and Essential AI SEO: AI Blog Post both aim to improve a Shopify store's visibility, but they target drastically different aspects of SEO. Arc focuses on making a store discoverable by Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, positioning itself as a forward-thinking 'AI Sitemap' solution. It boasts one-click llms.txt generation and automated refresh functionality, targeting merchants concerned with being indexed and showcased in AI-driven search and conversational interfaces. Essential AI SEO, on the other hand, centers on creating SEO-optimized blog content using AI, emphasizing its AI blog writer capabilities and multi-language support. Essential AI SEO addresses traditional SEO via blog content generation, appealing to merchants seeking to improve organic traffic through keyword-rich articles and consistent content updates. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on traditional SEO methods like blog content and keyword optimization, Essential AI SEO: AI Blog Post is the stronger choice. Its high review count suggests a more established user base and proven utility in generating blog posts. However, if a merchant is interested in experimenting with future-focused SEO strategies and specifically wants to ensure their store is indexed by LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini, then Arc: llms.txt is the more suitable app. The decision largely depends on a merchant's SEO priorities and comfort level with emerging technologies. If budget isn't a concern, a merchant might even consider using both.
