Arc: llms.txt vs Loup AI‑driven Video Marketingfor Shopify (2026)
Arc: llms.txt and Loup AI-driven Video Marketing are both Shopify apps aiming to leverage AI, but target vastly different aspects of e-commerce. Arc focuses on optimizing a store's visibility to Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, essentially creating an 'AI Sitemap' to improve how these models understand and represent product information. This is achieved through automated llms.txt file generation and refreshing. Loup, on the other hand, provides an AI-powered video marketing platform designed to enhance customer engagement and drive sales through live and pre-recorded shoppable videos, personalization and detailed analytics. The core distinction lies in their functionalities: Arc focuses on SEO and AI discovery, whereas Loup emphasizes video marketing and customer experience. While both apps share a 5/5 rating, Arc has a significantly higher number of reviews (18 vs 2), suggesting a broader user base or longer market presence (though this data is limited). Arc's value proposition is around future-proofing SEO by catering to LLMs, while Loup's value proposition centers around boosting conversion rates through engaging video content and data-driven personalization.
