Arc: llms.txt vs Xpansion Bulk Product Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Arc: llms.txt and Xpansion Bulk Product Upsell are both Shopify apps with perfect 5/5 ratings, but cater to drastically different merchant needs. Arc: llms.txt focuses on improving a store's visibility to AI models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. It automatically generates and updates an 'llms.txt' file, similar to robots.txt and sitemap.xml, to help these AI models crawl and index store content. This is particularly valuable for SEO-conscious merchants looking to capitalize on the growing influence of AI-powered search and shopping experiences. Xpansion Bulk Product Upsell, on the other hand, aims to increase order values by strategically displaying complementary products to customers. It allows merchants to show these upsell products anywhere on their store using Shopify 2.0 app blocks. The app supports both single and bulk add-to-cart options, and offers design customizations to seamlessly integrate with the store's theme. This makes it ideal for merchants looking to enhance the customer shopping experience and boost average order value through product cross-selling.
