Areviews ‑ Reviews Importer vs Junip ‑ Product Reviews Appfor Shopify (2026)
Areviews ‑ Reviews Importer and Junip ‑ Product Reviews App both address the need for product reviews on Shopify stores in 2026, but they cater to different merchant types. Areviews focuses on simplifying the importing of existing reviews from various online marketplaces like Amazon, AliExpress, and Shein, along with offering translation features and messaging tools. Its strength lies in populating new stores with a substantial review base quickly and communicating directly with customers. Junip, on the other hand, positions itself as a more comprehensive product review app with a focus on collecting and managing authentic reviews within the Shopify ecosystem. Our Verdict
For merchants who need to rapidly populate their stores with reviews and support multiple languages, especially those who are dropshipping from platforms like AliExpress or Shein, Areviews is the more suitable option. Its ability to import reviews directly from these marketplaces provides a significant advantage. However, for merchants who prioritize building authentic reviews from their own customer base and establishing a long-term brand reputation, Junip is the better choice. Its higher rating and greater number of reviews suggest a more mature and widely adopted platform for collecting and managing customer feedback, even if details on unique features are limited. The lower review count on Areviews might make some shoppers wary.
