Areviews ‑ Reviews Importer vs Rapid Reviews: Product Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
Areviews ‑ Reviews Importer and Rapid Reviews: Product Reviews are both Shopify apps designed to enhance product pages with customer reviews. Areviews focuses on importing reviews from various external marketplaces like Amazon, AliExpress, and Shein, offering merchants a way to quickly populate their product pages with existing social proof. It also emphasizes automated email review requests and cross-selling features through coupon codes. Rapid Reviews, on the other hand, prioritizes performance, offering a 'lighting-fast' review experience with features like deep search and Q&A, and claims to minimize impact on page speed. Rapid Reviews also boasts advanced features like multi-staged review requests with discounts, AMP email technology, auto-verified reviews, and AI-assisted review capture, targeting merchants who value a streamlined and high-performing review system. While Areviews offers language translation capabilities, Rapid Reviews offers native language support in multiple European and Asian languages. Therefore, the choice between the two hinges on the merchant's priorities: sourcing existing reviews quickly from other platforms versus creating a performant, feature-rich, on-site review experience.
