Arigato Automation vs FlowMailfor Shopify (2026)

Arigato Automation and FlowMail both operate in the workflow automation space for Shopify merchants, but their positioning and target audiences differ significantly. Arigato Automation aims to be a comprehensive automation platform, offering 340+ pre-built workflow automations and a flexible no-code/code environment for building custom solutions. It caters to merchants seeking advanced automation capabilities, integration with external tools, and the ability to leverage AI within their workflows. Its robust feature set suggests a target audience of larger or more complex Shopify stores. FlowMail, on the other hand, appears to focus specifically on email-related workflows (inferred from the name), potentially offering a simpler, more streamlined experience for merchants primarily concerned with automating email marketing and communications. The key difference lies in the scope of automation. Arigato Automation offers a broader range of automation options, including metaobject management, API integrations, and custom code capabilities, enabling merchants to automate diverse store operations. FlowMail, by its name, seems to primarily address email workflow automation. While FlowMail boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, the comparatively low number of reviews (16) compared to Arigato Automation (178) suggests a smaller user base and potentially a narrower focus. This makes Arigato Automation the likely better option for stores with varied workflow automations needs that span well beyond solely email marketing, as it promises support for integrations with SMS, API calls, POS flows and much more.
