Arigato Automation vs SplitOrderfor Shopify (2026)
Arigato Automation and SplitOrder both operate within the 'Orders' and 'Order editing' categories on the Shopify app store, but they cater to fundamentally different needs. Arigato Automation positions itself as a comprehensive automation platform capable of handling a wide array of tasks, leveraging no-code and custom code solutions alongside AI. Its strength lies in its versatility and ability to automate various aspects of a Shopify store beyond just order management, appealing to merchants seeking holistic automation. SplitOrder, on the other hand, is laser-focused on order splitting and fulfillment workflow automation. It directly addresses the complexities of managing orders with diverse items requiring different fulfillment processes, targeting merchants grappling with fulfillment challenges related to product attributes, warehouse locations, and supplier variations. While both apps share the 'Orders' and 'Order editing' categories, their scopes diverge significantly. Arigato aims for broad automation capabilities, including email marketing and complex logic, while SplitOrder concentrates on order splitting by customized items, oversize, or specific supplier orders. Arigato boasts a larger user base and a slightly higher rating, suggesting greater general satisfaction. SplitOrder's lower review count could indicate a niche audience with highly specific needs it effectively addresses. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether the merchant needs a comprehensive automation solution or a specialized tool for optimizing order fulfillment workflows involving order splitting.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive, customizable automation platform capable of handling a wide range of tasks beyond order management, Arigato Automation is the superior choice. Its no-code flow builder, custom code options, and AI integration provide unparalleled flexibility. However, for merchants primarily struggling with complex order fulfillment scenarios involving splitting orders based on product attributes, warehouse locations, or suppliers, SplitOrder offers a more targeted and potentially simpler solution. SplitOrder's specialization allows it to excel in this specific area, making it the more efficient option for merchants with well-defined order splitting needs.
Consider SplitOrder the better choice if you spend significant time manually splitting orders based on product characteristics or supplier, and only require order splitting functionality. If your business needs cover a broader spectrum of automation requirements spanning marketing, customer support, and inventory management, prioritize Arigato Automation. Consider SplitOrder for its focus, but be sure it integrates with other Shopify apps you already use.
