Atlas Pickup Points vs Intuitive Shippingfor Shopify (2026)
Atlas Pickup Points and Intuitive Shipping both aim to enhance the delivery experience on Shopify, but they cater to distinctly different needs. Atlas Pickup Points focuses narrowly on enabling customers to select pickup locations (APMs, PUDOs, Point Relais) from a wide range of carriers during checkout or on the thank you page. Its strength lies in its deep integration with numerous global carriers and its specific function of offering pickup point selection. Its design caters particularly well to Shopify Plus merchants needing a reliable and scalable solution for managing pickup options. In contrast, Intuitive Shipping offers a broader, more flexible solution for managing all aspects of checkout shipping, including standard delivery options. It emphasizes customization and control over shipping rates, allowing merchants to create complex shipping rules based on various conditions. Its key value proposition lies in its ability to tailor the shipping process to reflect a merchant's unique business model, even with complex fulfillment scenarios. It targets merchants who find Shopify's native shipping options insufficient and require advanced control over pricing and delivery options.

Our Verdict
If your primary need is to offer a wide selection of pickup locations across numerous carriers, particularly for an international customer base, Atlas Pickup Points is the clear choice, especially if you are a Shopify Plus merchant needing a scalable solution. Its dedicated focus and pre-built integrations make it easy to add this functionality to your store.
However, if you require greater flexibility and control over all aspects of your shipping rates and delivery options, and your shipping needs are complex, Intuitive Shipping is the better option. Its conditional logic and customization capabilities allow you to tailor the shipping experience to your specific business requirements. While it may require more initial setup, the added control and customization can lead to improved customer satisfaction and increased conversions.
