Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps have similar high ratings, suggesting usability is likely good for both. However, the simplicity of setting up an auction (Auction Today) might be faster than configuring a complex quote system (SB Request a Quote, Hide Price), especially for those unfamiliar with B2B sales processes.
Can I use both apps in my store?
Potentially, but it would be unusual. They cater to different selling strategies. If you sell both directly to consumers via auctions *and* offer wholesale/custom orders with quotes, it *might* be justified, but careful consideration would be needed to avoid confusing customers.
Which app provides better reporting?
Based on the descriptions, SB Request a Quote, Hide Price likely offers better reporting, especially regarding lead analysis and quote conversion, due to its AI lead scoring and focus on B2B sales metrics. Auction Today's reporting would likely focus on auction participation and revenue generated.
Which app is better for driving immediate sales?
Auction Today is designed for driving immediate sales through the urgency and excitement of auctions. The bidding process encourages quick decisions and can lead to higher sale prices.
Which app is more suitable for a business with a large catalog?
SB Request a Quote, Hide Price is likely more suitable for a business with a large catalog, especially if pricing varies widely based on quantity or customer. The quote system allows for flexible pricing and avoids the complexity of managing thousands of individual auction settings.
