Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player vs CODEGEN & DELIVERYfor Shopify (2026)
Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player and CODEGEN & DELIVERY are both Shopify apps in the 'Digital goods and services - Other' category, but cater to vastly different needs. Audioly focuses on enhancing the storefront experience for merchants selling audio samples by providing a sticky audio player, waveform display, and add-to-cart functionality within the player itself. Its strength lies in creating an audio-focused shopping environment, allowing customers to easily preview and purchase audio files. In contrast, CODEGEN & DELIVERY targets merchants who distribute unique activation codes, likely for software, digital art, or other digital products. It facilitates the delivery of these codes to customers upon purchase through CSV file uploads and specific distribution rules. Its strength lies in automating the delivery of unique digital assets directly to the customer post-purchase, but documentation suggests it's primarily designed for a Japanese-speaking audience as indicated by the language used in the headline and description. The lack of reviews and a zero rating indicate a potential lack of adoption or significant issues.

Our Verdict
For merchants selling audio samples and looking to enhance their storefront with a dedicated audio player, Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player is the clear choice. Its focus on audio previews and in-player conversion tools aligns directly with their needs. The positive rating and reviews, while limited, suggest a functional app.
CODEGEN & DELIVERY is suitable only for merchants distributing digital goods that require activation codes, but its lack of reviews, a zero rating, and language primarily in Japanese suggest caution. Further investigation, particularly confirming adequate language support, is crucial before considering it. If a merchant requires code delivery in English and wants a proven solution, seeking alternatives to CODEGEN & DELIVERY is advised.
