Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player vs EDP ‑ Easy Digital Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player and EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products both cater to the digital goods and services market on Shopify, but they serve distinctly different functions. Audioly focuses specifically on enhancing the presentation and previewing of audio files. Its core strength lies in providing audio players with waveform displays, automatic sample creation, and 'add to cart' functionality within the player itself, aiming to boost conversion rates for audio-based products. EDP, on the other hand, isn't explicitly described, but is in the same category. Given its vastly higher number of reviews, it suggests that EDP serves a broader range of digital product needs and likely provides a more comprehensive solution for managing and selling digital files, possibly including automated delivery, licensing, and other related features. The difference lies in one focused on enhanced audio previews and sales vs the other offering full digital product management.

Our Verdict
If your primary need is to showcase audio samples in an engaging way to improve conversions, Audioly ‑ Sticky Audio Player is the clear choice. Its audio-specific features, like waveform displays and in-player add-to-cart buttons, are tailored for audio sellers. However, if you need a more comprehensive solution for managing a wider array of digital products beyond just audio, and managing the fulfillment and delivery of those files, EDP ‑ Easy Digital Products is likely the better option. While Audioly has a slightly lower rating, the limited number of reviews makes it difficult to draw definitive conclusions; EDP's larger user base suggests a more established and potentially more reliable platform for comprehensive digital product management, despite lacking details of its feature set in this data.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without detailed information on EDP, it is impossible to assess. It depends on the scope and functionality each app provides. Audioly, given its narrow focus, might be easier to initially configure, but EDP could be easier overall depending on needs.
Does Audioly support streaming or DRM?
No, the description explicitly states that Audioly is NOT a streaming or DRM service. It focuses on sample previews.
Can I sell other types of digital products with Audioly?
Audioly is designed primarily for presenting and selling audio samples. While it might technically be possible to link to other digital products, it's not its intended purpose.
Is EDP only for audio products?
Based on its higher number of reviews and general category placement, EDP is likely for a broader range of digital products beyond audio, however more information would need to be found to determine that for sure.
Which app is better for increasing audio sample sales?
Audioly is specifically designed to enhance audio sample sales with features like waveform displays, in-player add-to-cart buttons, and automatic sample creation. EDP, without details on included features, cannot compare and is likely not specialized for audio.
