Auglio Cosmetics Try-On and OPTIS Product Options, Variant cater to distinctly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Auglio focuses on enhancing the customer experience in the cosmetics sector by offering an augmented reality (AR) virtual try-on feature, aiming to boost engagement, sales, and reduce returns related to color or fit mismatches. It targets beauty stores seeking to innovate and provide a more interactive shopping journey. On the other hand, OPTIS Product Options, Variant is a more generalized solution designed to enhance product customization options and manage product variants effectively. Our Verdict
For cosmetics stores looking to leverage augmented reality to enhance the customer experience and increase sales by allowing virtual try-ons, Auglio Cosmetics Try-On is the clear choice. Its features are specifically tailored to this niche, offering a unique and engaging way for customers to interact with products. However, merchants in other industries, or even cosmetics stores that prioritize comprehensive product customization and variant management over AR try-ons, should strongly consider OPTIS Product Options, Variant. OPTIS's established user base and core functionality surrounding product options and variants provide a robust solution for a broader range of e-commerce needs. Auglio's very limited review count warrants caution and closer examination of the team and product before using.
