Auglio Eyewear Try‑On vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
Auglio Eyewear Try‑On and ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels cater to different segments within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both falling under the 'Images and media' category. Auglio focuses on a very specific niche: enabling virtual try-on experiences for eyewear. Given its low review count, Auglio likely serves a smaller, targeted audience of eyewear retailers. Its value proposition is centered around improving the customer experience by allowing them to 'try before they buy.' ReelUp, on the other hand, aims for a broader audience seeking to enhance engagement and conversions through shoppable video content. Its headline highlights increased conversions and draws a parallel to TikTok shop-like video experiences. The significantly higher rating and review count suggest a more established presence and wider adoption. ReelUp's emphasis is on importing and displaying UGC videos from platforms like TikTok and Instagram, offering features like autoplay carousels and Instagram-style stories to boost user engagement and SEO.

Our Verdict
For eyewear retailers specifically seeking a virtual try-on feature, Auglio Eyewear Try‑On is the clear choice, assuming it delivers on its promise. However, the limited reviews should prompt careful consideration and possibly a trial period. For a wider range of e-commerce businesses looking to leverage the power of shoppable video content from platforms like TikTok and Instagram to boost engagement and conversion, ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels is the stronger recommendation due to its higher rating, significantly more reviews, and feature set designed for general video marketing purposes. ReelUp boasts speed optimization and seamless integration, making it a more versatile choice.
