Auto DS: AI Dropshipping & POD vs B: B2B Lock, Login, Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Auto DS: AI Dropshipping & POD and B: B2B Lock, Login, Hide Price, while both falling under the 'Sourcing options' Shopify category, serve vastly different purposes and target distinct merchant types. Auto DS focuses on streamlining dropshipping operations by automating product sourcing, importing, fulfillment, and optimization using AI, primarily targeting merchants engaged in or looking to start a dropshipping business. Its key strength lies in its ability to connect merchants with US & EU suppliers, promising fast shipping and comprehensive automation tools, including access to educational resources like the AutoDS Academy. B: B2B Lock, on the other hand, caters specifically to businesses requiring enhanced control over who accesses their store's content. It enables merchants to restrict access to products, prices, collections, and pages using logins, passcodes, and other rule-based conditions. This app is designed to support B2B or private sales models, providing tools to hide prices, lock content, and manage checkout access, making it ideal for wholesale businesses or stores offering exclusive content. While both apps offer sourcing-related functionality, Auto DS sources products, while B2B Lock sources access to products.
