Auto Purchase Orders vs Cha‑Ching: Order Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
Auto Purchase Orders and Cha‑Ching: Order Notifications are vastly different Shopify apps targeting distinct needs. Auto Purchase Orders is a comprehensive purchase order management solution, aimed at automating and streamlining the entire procurement process. It focuses on dropshipping, vendor management, inventory control, and accounting integration, suitable for larger businesses or those with complex supply chain needs. Cha‑Ching: Order Notifications, based on the limited information, appears to be primarily focused on staff notifications related to orders and has no reviews or features listed. Auto Purchase Orders positions itself as a full-featured Stocky alternative, offering features like automated dropship PO creation, vendor email integration, inventory updates, and accounting synchronization. Its strength lies in its automation capabilities and ability to integrate with other business systems. Conversely, Cha‑Ching: Order Notifications, given the lack of information, seems to be a basic notification tool for staff and potentially order fulfillment. While both apps are categorized under "Staff notifications," their functionality and target audiences are very different.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a robust purchase order management system with automation, vendor management, and accounting integrations, Auto Purchase Orders is the clear choice. Its 5-star rating and features such as dropship PO generation, inventory tracking, and Xero/QuickBooks syncing make it suitable for businesses of various sizes, especially those with complex inventory and supply chain needs.
On the other hand, based on the extremely limited information provided, Cha‑Ching: Order Notifications' value proposition is unclear. The lack of reviews and feature details makes it difficult to recommend. If a merchant only needs simple order notifications for their staff and doesn't require any purchase order management capabilities, they *might* consider Cha-Ching: Order Notifications, but further investigation and user reviews would be essential before making a decision. Given the information available, Auto Purchase Orders is overwhelmingly the more capable and established app.
