Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to automate and optimize their purchase order process, inventory management, and vendor relationships, Auto Purchase Orders is the clear choice. Its features cater specifically to this need, offering integrations with accounting software and support for complex workflows like dropshipping. It seems ideal for mid-sized to large Shopify stores with significant inventory management requirements.
Conversely, EZ Notify ‑ Slack Integration is better suited for merchants who prioritize team communication, real-time awareness of customer and order events, and leveraging Slack as a central hub for their business operations. Its focus on delivering notifications to Slack channels makes it valuable for smaller teams needing to stay agile and responsive to customer activity. If a merchant is choosing between these two, it is unlikely that they are a good substitute for each other.
