Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges vs D: Request a Quote, Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges and D: Request a Quote, Hide Price are both Shopify apps found in the Notifications category, but they serve vastly different purposes and target different merchant types. Avada Boost Sales aims to increase sales by building trust and urgency through features like trust badges, sales popups, and free shipping bars. Its focus is on converting browsing customers into buyers through psychological triggers. In contrast, D: Request a Quote, Hide Price caters to businesses that require custom pricing or handle complex orders where a direct 'Add to Cart' option isn't suitable. It allows customers to request quotes, create product-specific forms, and facilitates direct communication and negotiation between the customer and the merchant. Avada Boost Sales relies on social proof and trust-building elements, boasting a high rating and a large number of reviews, indicating widespread appeal and perceived effectiveness. The "Request a Quote" app prioritizes enabling custom pricing and negotiation, offering features like quote management, file uploads, and AI-powered communication. Choosing between the two depends entirely on the merchant's business model. A high-volume store selling straightforward products is more likely to benefit from Avada Boost Sales, while a business offering custom or specialized products, requiring detailed specifications and pricing negotiations, would find D: Request a Quote, Hide Price more useful.
