Our Verdict
For merchants looking to leverage social proof, build trust, and create a sense of urgency to directly drive sales, Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is likely the better choice. The app offers a wider range of features designed to directly influence customer behavior. However, for merchants who simply need a highly customizable and attention-grabbing way to display announcements, promotions, or other important information, Fab Marquee Scrolling Text is a good option. Its strength lies in its flexibility and its singular focus on scrolling banners. The significant difference in the number of reviews indicates Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges may be more popular and/or established, but newer apps should not be dismissed based purely on review count.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific needs and priorities of the merchant. If driving sales through trust and social proof is paramount, Avada is recommended. If broadcasting announcements and promotions is the primary goal, Fab Marquee is a strong contender.
