Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive suite of tools to build trust, create urgency, and directly impact sales figures, Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is the stronger choice. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution. However, a merchant looking to make announcements that are eye catching and dynamic, Fast Track: Moving top bar is the better choice.
Ultimately, the best app depends on the merchant's specific needs. A new Shopify store wanting to make announcements and gain attention should choose Fast Track: Moving Top Bar and a store needing to build social proof to establish themselves should choose Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges. Given the complete lack of reviews for Fast Track, exercising caution and potentially trying a trial period is crucial before committing to the app.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for a beginner?
Both apps claim ease of use, but Fast Track's description explicitly states "no coding required," suggesting it might be slightly more beginner-friendly in terms of initial setup. However, Avada Boost Sales may offer more guidance and templates due to its broader feature set.
Which app is better for showcasing limited-time offers?
While both can display offers, Fast Track's dynamic and visually-oriented announcement bar is specifically designed to grab attention and highlight promotions effectively. Avada Boost Sales can display offer through the announcement bar, but it is not its primary purpose.
Which app is better for new stores?
Avada Boost Sales may be more beneficial in the long run as it will help build trust. But Fast Track may be a good solution for short term promotions for new customers. Since there is no indication of cost for either app, the decision must be made with the features in mind.
How important are the ratings and reviews for each app?
The rating and review difference between the apps is huge. The Avada app has thousands of reviews and a perfect rating, while the Fast Track app has neither. Avada will be a much more trustworthy and guaranteed solution.
Can both apps be used at the same time?
Yes, both apps can technically be used simultaneously. However, it's crucial to consider the overall user experience. Too many overlapping banners or notifications could overwhelm customers and negatively impact conversions. Careful planning and design are essential.
