Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges vs Keep Up With Metals ‑ GMAppifyfor Shopify (2026)
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges and Keep Up With Metals ‑ GMAppify are both Shopify apps aimed at boosting sales, but they cater to drastically different niches. Avada focuses on generalized sales enhancement through trust badges, sales notifications, and free shipping bars, positioning itself as an all-in-one solution for building customer confidence and creating a sense of urgency. It boasts a strong social proof advantage with a 5/5 rating and over 1600 reviews. Keep Up With Metals, conversely, is highly specialized, targeting merchants selling precious metals, jewelry, or bullion. Its core functionality is displaying real-time metal prices to ensure pricing transparency and build trust within that specific market. The key difference lies in their target audience and feature set. Avada aims for broad appeal among e-commerce stores seeking general conversion rate optimization. Its strength lies in providing a suite of widely applicable sales-boosting tools. Keep Up With Metals, however, sacrifices breadth for depth, offering a highly tailored solution for a niche market. While it lacks any user reviews at present, its value proposition centers on providing real-time, accurate pricing for precious metals, something Avada doesn't offer. The 'banners' category overlap is tenuous; Avada’s trust badges and shipping bars are banner-like elements, while Keep Up With Metals presents metal prices in a banner-like widget.

Our Verdict
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is the clear choice for most e-commerce merchants seeking to improve conversion rates through social proof, trust badges, and urgency creation. Its proven track record, evidenced by its high rating and numerous reviews, makes it a reliable option. However, for merchants specifically dealing in precious metals, jewelry, or bullion, Keep Up With Metals offers a vital service: real-time, accurate pricing. While its lack of reviews is concerning, its core functionality directly addresses a critical need for that specific market.
Ultimately, the selection hinges on the merchant's specific product category. If you don't sell precious metals, Avada is the superior choice. If you do, Keep Up With Metals is essential, assuming it delivers on its promise of accurate, real-time pricing and offers sufficient support to overcome the initial lack of user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, both apps claim seamless Shopify integration. However, Avada's generalized features suggest a potentially broader learning curve, while Keep Up With Metals' specialized functionality might lead to a quicker setup process for relevant merchants.
Which app is better for building trust?
Both apps aim to build trust, but in different ways. Avada uses social proof and urgency to instill confidence, while Keep Up With Metals focuses on price transparency. The 'better' app depends on the specific trust factors that are most important to the target customer base.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but there might be redundancy. If a merchant sells jewelry containing precious metals, they could use Avada for general trust badges and Keep Up With Metals for real-time pricing. However, they should assess whether the benefits justify the added complexity and cost.
What happens if the pricing API for Keep Up With Metals fails?
This is a significant risk given the app's reliance on real-time data. The app description doesn't mention any fallback mechanisms or error handling. Merchants should inquire about data source reliability and contingency plans before committing to the app.
Does Avada offer specific badge designs tailored to different industries?
The description only mentions 'stunning designs' and full customization. Merchants should explore the app's design options to determine if they align with their specific brand and product category. Customization options would be important to investigate to ensure they're easy to use and produce a professional-looking result.
