Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to immediately boost sales and leverage social proof, Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is the stronger choice. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews indicate effectiveness and reliability. The app's features are specifically geared towards converting browsers into buyers through urgency and trust signals.
However, if the primary goal is to keep customers informed of promotions, news, or general updates with an emphasis on visual customization and multi-language support, MPA Announcement Bar is a viable option. Its scrolling announcement feature offers a dynamic way to communicate with visitors. However, potential users should weigh the lower rating and smaller user base when making their decision.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim effortless setup and seamless integration, but MPA Announcement Bar mentions 'Quick installation' more prominently. However, the sheer number of Avada's positive reviews suggests that users have found its setup manageable despite its broader feature set.
Which app is better for building customer trust?
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges is explicitly designed for building customer trust with features like trust badges and real-time sales notifications (social proof). MPA Announcement Bar doesn't directly focus on trust-building, although clear and consistent communication could indirectly contribute.
Which app offers more customization options?
MPA Announcement Bar emphasizes customization of fonts, colors, sizes, and positions, which is more granular control for appearance. Avada focuses on matching brand identity but doesn't detail the level of granular control offered for individual elements.
Which app is more suitable for a store with international customers?
MPA Announcement Bar has explicit multi-language support. Avada doesn't explicitly mention multi-language support, but its core features could be used in multiple languages as the merchant creates the content.
Which app is better for running flash sales?
Avada Boost Sales Trust Badges' real-time sales popups are more suited to creating the urgency needed for flash sales. MPA Announcement Bar could advertise the flash sale, but lacks the urgency-driving real-time element.
