Our Verdict
Avada GDPR Cookies Consent is the clear choice for any merchant prioritizing data privacy compliance and seeking to avoid legal repercussions. Its extensive features and high rating from a substantial number of reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for managing cookie consent. Keep Up With Metals ‑ GMAppify, with its zero reviews and a very niche function, is suitable only for merchants specifically selling precious metals and needing to display real-time pricing. Until it garners positive reviews and establishes a user base, its reliability is questionable. If your business doesn't involve selling precious metals, Keep Up With Metals has no relevance. Avada GDPR Cookies Consent is essential for any Shopify store operating in regions with data privacy laws, while Keep Up With Metals is a very specialized tool.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Keep Up With Metals is likely easier to set up if all you need is basic precious metal pricing. Avada GDPR Cookies Consent can be more involved, especially if you want to customize it extensively and ensure you're compliant with multiple regulations.
Which app offers a free trial?
This information is not provided in the given data. You would need to check the Shopify App Store listing for each app.
Which app has better customer support?
Avada GDPR Cookies Consent explicitly mentions '24/7 SUPPORT', suggesting potentially superior customer service. Keep Up With Metals makes no such claim.
If I sell jewelry but am not concerned about GDPR, do I need Avada?
If GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy laws are not a concern for your target market and you are comfortable managing cookie consent manually or using a less feature-rich free solution, you might not need Avada. However, compliance is increasingly important, so it's a risk assessment you need to make. Keep Up With Metals and Avada address totally separate needs.
Which app is more likely to improve my sales?
