Our Verdict
The choice between Avada GDPR Cookies Consent and Proof Bear - Sales Popup depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If a merchant operates in regions governed by GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy laws, Avada GDPR Cookies Consent is essential for ensuring compliance and avoiding potentially hefty fines. Its integration with Google Consent Mode v2 and comprehensive cookie scanning capabilities make it a robust solution for managing user consent.
However, if the merchant's primary goal is to increase sales and conversion rates, Proof Bear - Sales Popup is a more suitable option. Its focus on social proof and FOMO can be particularly effective for new stores or those struggling to build trust with potential customers. While both apps enhance the user experience, they do so in fundamentally different ways, addressing distinct business needs.
