Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ vs Keeper—Recover Abandoned Cartsfor Shopify (2026)
Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ and Keeper—Recover Abandoned Carts, while both falling under the Shopify "Checkout" category, cater to distinctly different needs. Avada focuses on optimizing order management by allowing merchants to set minimum order quantities (MOQs), maximum order quantities, and rules based on product, collection, cart value, weight, or even customer tags. It aims to increase revenue by ensuring minimum purchase requirements and preventing unwanted bulk purchases. Keeper, on the other hand, focuses on recovering lost revenue by targeting abandoned carts and encouraging customers to complete their purchases. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Avada is proactive, shaping order behavior upfront. Keeper is reactive, addressing a problem (abandoned carts) after it has occurred. Avada seems geared towards businesses that want control over order size and customer segments, possibly including wholesale or businesses wanting to avoid certain types of purchases. Keeper is for any store looking to recoup lost sales due to cart abandonment and potentially boost overall conversion rates. The higher rating and review count for Avada suggests higher user satisfaction, but the difference in purpose prevents a direct comparison of the app quality.

Our Verdict
Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ is the superior choice for merchants who need granular control over order size, whether to enforce MOQs, prevent bulk purchases, or manage wholesale relationships. It's ideal for businesses that want to proactively shape order behavior. Keeper—Recover Abandoned Carts, however, is better suited for stores primarily focused on recovering lost sales from abandoned carts. All stores, regardless of size or business model, can benefit from cart recovery tools. While Avada has a higher rating and more reviews, their purposes are very different and they can even be used together for a comprehensive checkout optimization strategy. A store with frequent abandoned carts and no need to control order quantity could benefit more from Keeper, while a wholesale business needs Avada.
