Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ vs Process Wholesale: B2B Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ and Process Wholesale: B2B Pricing are both Shopify apps catering to merchants who need more control over order quantities, but they approach this from different angles and target different audiences. Avada focuses primarily on setting order quantity limits (MOQ, maximums) applicable to all customers, aiming to prevent fraud, manage bulk purchases, and ensure a minimum order value. Process Wholesale, on the other hand, is specifically designed for B2B sales, offering features like custom pricing, signup forms, and content locking to manage wholesale relationships without a separate store. Avada's strength lies in its broad applicability and specific focus on order quantity management across various scenarios, from individual product limits to wholesale customer restrictions. Its high rating and larger number of reviews suggest a wider user base and potentially greater overall satisfaction with its core functionality. Process Wholesale, while having a lower rating and fewer reviews, provides a comprehensive suite of B2B-specific tools, making it a more tailored solution for merchants actively pursuing a wholesale business model. The key difference lies in the scope: Avada is a quantity control app, while Process Wholesale is a B2B management platform with quantity control features.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with setting minimum or maximum order quantities across their entire customer base and preventing fraudulent purchases, Avada Order Limit Quantity MOQ is the better choice. Its broader applicability and checkout validation rules provide greater control over order limits. However, if your primary goal is to establish and manage a dedicated wholesale business with custom pricing, signup processes, and separate product visibility, Process Wholesale: B2B Pricing offers a more comprehensive and tailored solution, despite having a slightly lower rating and fewer reviews. It's a dedicated B2B platform, while Avada offers order quantity control features that *can* be applied to B2B customers.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim ease of use, but Avada's 'no code required' description suggests a simpler setup, especially for basic order quantity limits. Process Wholesale, with its more extensive B2B features, might require more initial configuration.
Can both apps handle minimum order quantities (MOQ)?
Yes, both apps can handle MOQ. Avada directly mentions 'Create MOQ limit quantity'. Process Wholesale states 'Set a minimum order amount OR a minimum order quantity for wholesale customers'.
Which app offers more robust wholesale features?
Process Wholesale offers significantly more robust wholesale features. Its offerings include a customizable signup form, a separate wholesale section with a quick buy form, wholesale pricing hidden from retail customers, and content locking for non-wholesale customers. Avada only supports wholesaler restrictions based on customer tags and contact methods for quotes.
Which app is better for preventing bulk purchases?
Avada is explicitly designed to 'Prevent fraud or bulk purchases'. While Process Wholesale can indirectly limit bulk purchases through MOQ and customer segmentation, Avada's checkout validation rules offer a more direct approach to preventing unwanted bulk orders from any customer.
If I want to limit the total order from each customer, which app is best?
Avada provides the explicit feature: 'Create re-purchase / future limit on total order from each customer.' Process Wholesale doesn't mention the same feature directly, so Avada is more appropriate if limiting total lifetime orders per customer is a key requirement.
