Avasam vs German Drop ‑ Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
Avasam and German Drop ‑ Dropshipping both aim to simplify dropshipping for Shopify merchants, but they cater to different needs and priorities. Avasam focuses on UK/USA-based suppliers, offering a streamlined experience with automated listing, order processing, and returns management. Their value proposition centers on ease of use and access to vetted local suppliers. German Drop, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive supply chain solution, offering a broader range of services including sourcing, warehousing, branding, and logistics, with a global perspective. Avasam's strength lies in its simplicity and targeted supplier base. Its automated features and dedicated support aim to minimize the operational burden for merchants. German Drop appeals to merchants seeking more control and customization, offering bespoke branding options, warehousing solutions, and a dedicated support team. The core difference lies in the level of control and customization offered: Avasam provides a plug-and-play dropshipping experience, while German Drop offers a more tailored and scalable solution. While both apps boast a perfect 5/5 rating, the difference in the number of reviews (2 vs. 54) is significant. German Drop's higher number of reviews suggests broader adoption and more established credibility, at least in terms of user feedback, which a merchant should always take into consideration. Both claim excellent eCommerce services, but the scope of those services differs greatly, so a close evaluation based on specific business needs is required before making a decision.
