Avasam vs Productlyfor Shopify (2026)
Avasam and Productly are Shopify apps in the "Sourcing options - Other" category, but they cater to vastly different needs. Avasam is a dropshipping marketplace focused on connecting merchants with UK/USA-based suppliers, automating order fulfillment, and providing post-sale support. It targets merchants looking to streamline their dropshipping operations with verified suppliers and automated processes. Productly, on the other hand, is an AI-powered content generation tool. It aims to help merchants quickly create product descriptions, find images, and generate SEO-boosting articles. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Avasam provides sourcing, fulfillment, and support infrastructure, while Productly concentrates on content creation. Avasam simplifies the supply chain for dropshippers selling UK/USA products, automating tasks like order processing and payment collection. Productly aims to alleviate the burden of content creation for merchants struggling with writing compelling product descriptions and marketing materials. Our Verdict
Choosing between Avasam and Productly depends heavily on the merchant's needs. If you're a dropshipper looking for UK/USA-based suppliers and automated order fulfillment, Avasam is the clear choice. It offers a complete solution for sourcing, listing, and fulfilling products. The 5/5 rating, albeit based on a small sample size, suggests a positive user experience within its target market.
However, if you're struggling to write compelling product descriptions or create SEO-rich content for your website, Productly might be more helpful. While its low rating (1/5 with only 2 reviews) is concerning and warrants caution, its AI-powered content generation could save you significant time. A merchant should carefully consider the ratings and reviews, and possibly explore alternatives, given Productly's low score.
