Avasam vs Salestio — eBay Product Importfor Shopify (2026)
Avasam and Salestio — eBay Product Import cater to distinct segments of the Shopify ecosystem, both aiming to streamline product sourcing and management but through different approaches. Avasam is a dropshipping marketplace focused on connecting merchants with verified UK/USA-based suppliers, offering end-to-end automation from product listing to order fulfillment. Its strength lies in providing a curated product catalog and handling logistics for merchants interested in the dropshipping model without sourcing their own suppliers. Salestio, on the other hand, focuses on simplifying the integration of existing eBay and Etsy listings into Shopify. It's designed for merchants who already have established product listings on those marketplaces and want to expand their sales channels to Shopify. Its advantage lies in bulk importing listings and synchronizing inventory across platforms. Avasam provides more comprehensive support with returns and customer service. Salestio focuses exclusively on importation and synchronization. The primary difference lies in the sourcing of products. Avasam provides a marketplace of vetted suppliers, while Salestio assumes the merchant already has product listings on eBay and Etsy. Avasam offers a more complete solution, including automated order processing and customer support, ideal for those beginning or scaling a dropshipping business. Salestio is geared toward merchants with existing eBay/Etsy businesses looking to easily migrate and synchronize their inventory with a Shopify store, offering bulk import and automatic inventory synchronization.

Our Verdict
If you're looking to start or scale a dropshipping business with a focus on UK/USA-based suppliers and want automated order processing and comprehensive customer support, Avasam is the better choice. Its dropshipping marketplace and integrated features provide a simplified and supported dropshipping experience. However, if you already have a thriving business on eBay and/or Etsy and need a quick and efficient way to integrate your existing listings into a Shopify store while maintaining inventory synchronization, Salestio — eBay Product Import is the ideal solution. It sacrifices the end-to-end support of Avasam for simple, bulk import and product quantity synchronization.
