Avis Product Options, Variants vs Panda Size Chartfor Shopify (2026)
Avis Product Options, Variants and Panda Size Chart are both Shopify apps within the 'Custom products' and 'Product variants' categories, but they address different merchant needs. Avis Product Options, Variants focuses on expanding product customization by offering advanced options and variations, enabling merchants to offer highly personalized products. Panda Size Chart, on the other hand, is designed to solve a specific problem: displaying size charts on product pages to reduce returns and improve customer confidence. The primary difference lies in their core functionality. Avis Product Options, Variants aims to enhance product detail pages by giving customers choices in color, fabric, size, or customized text, enabling them to design a truly personalized product. Panda Size Chart deals with improving the consumer experience by offering a size chart for clothing and footwear. While they both affect the product page, they approach it from different angles. The significantly higher rating and review count for Avis suggests a stronger overall satisfaction and/or market penetration among Shopify merchants at large. In 2026, merchants choosing between the apps should strongly consider their specific needs. If they're looking to add extensive product options and variations to their offerings, Avis Product Options, Variants appears to be the stronger option, judging from its substantially higher review count and perfect rating. However, if the business's core problem is dealing with inaccurate sizing selections and returns because customers struggle with sizing charts, then Panda Size Chart is the perfect app.
