Our Verdict
Avis Product Options, Variants is the safer bet for merchants primarily focused on core product variant management, especially given its perfect rating and large number of positive reviews. It suggests a smooth user experience and reliable performance. PC ‑ Custom Product Options is better suited for merchants who require advanced product customization options like image and file uploads, color swatches, and conditional logic, and who are actively looking to increase revenue through upcharges. However, the slightly lower rating should be considered. If ease of use is paramount and only basic variant features are needed, Avis is the clear winner. If advanced customization and revenue boosting are key priorities, PC is worth considering, but merchants should carefully review recent reviews and potentially try a demo or trial before committing.
