Avis Product Options, Variants vs Perfect Size Charts & Guidesfor Shopify (2026)
Avis Product Options, Variants and Perfect Size Charts & Guides both aim to enhance product customization and presentation on Shopify stores, but their focuses differ significantly. Avis Product Options, Variants appears to be a comprehensive solution for adding various product options and creating complex variants. The high number of reviews (1366) suggests it has a large user base and established presence, which indirectly conveys reliability. Perfect Size Charts & Guides, on the other hand, specializes in providing size charts and guides, a critical feature for apparel and other product categories where sizing is important for sales and returns. The key distinction lies in their functionalities. Avis Product Options, Variants caters to merchants needing extensive product customization capabilities, while Perfect Size Charts & Guides addresses the specific need of providing size information. While both apps have a perfect 5/5 rating, the vast disparity in the number of reviews suggests that Avis Product Options, Variants is a more established and widely used app, potentially indicating greater maturity and a broader range of features, but not necessarily a *better* app for the niche of size charts. A merchant should select based on their specific requirements.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing in-depth product customization and offering a wide array of options and variants, Avis Product Options, Variants is likely the better choice. The large number of reviews suggests a reliable and well-supported app. However, for merchants primarily concerned with providing accurate sizing information to reduce returns and improve customer satisfaction in categories like clothing or shoes, Perfect Size Charts & Guides directly addresses that need. Although it has significantly fewer reviews, its targeted functionality might make it the more efficient solution.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific needs of the store. If a store needs robust product variant and option creation, Avis Product Options, Variants is the clear winner. If the main concern is accurately displaying sizing information to customers, Perfect Size Charts & Guides is the more focused and potentially simpler solution, even if the review count is low. Further research and potentially a free trial (if offered) for both apps would be ideal.
