Our Verdict
For merchants looking to offer standard product variations like size, color, or material, Avis Product Options, Variants is the clear winner, based on its overwhelmingly positive reviews and established track record. The risk of using Shopaw File Upload with no track record is high. However, if a merchant specializes in products requiring customer-submitted files (images, audio, documents), then Shopaw File Upload, if it delivers on its promises of simplifying file upload and linking to orders, may be worth a try. New merchants looking for deep personalization features should proceed with caution and be prepared for a potentially buggy or unsupported application experience, and they should check the file management features. Start with a test product.
